The Double-Layer Dress — Morgado Plaid
Two layers, one silhouette — and a quiet confidence in both. A girls' plaid dress with a sleeveless cut, where a structured outer panel in Morgado plaid is gathered and drawn up on one side over a softer cream cotton inner. Depth without bulk. The hem falls asymmetric by design — short on the gathered side, longer where the inner shows through. A girls' occasion dress that reads dressed-up at school and dressed-down at a wedding — modest in line, generous in meaning. Made for the years she'll remember being seen, and the years she'll be glad she was dressed for it. Hand-finished in our Lisbon atelier. A small run, made to be passed down — the kind of midi her sister will fight over years from now.
