Made for More Than One Childhood

A garment's first childhood is only its first. We cut cloth to outlast trends, sew it to survive play, and when it is outgrown, we ask for it back. This is our circular programme — not a feeling, a mechanism. Here is exactly how it works.

Built to be handed down

Circularity begins at the drawing board. Every piece is designed to survive more than one childhood: fabrics chosen for wear, seams built for play, silhouettes that don't expire when a season does. The most convincing word we know is one we never need to say — because a garment that lasts speaks for itself.

Repaired, not retired

A mended knee is a story, not a flaw — and we think the repair chapter of a garment's life can be as inspiring as its first. If a piece needs mending, write to us: we'll send you a copy of our Repairs booklet — our ideas, stitches and patches for giving a garment its next chapter — or help you find a repair partner near you. We are building a map of local menders, one customer at a time.

Send it home — and take 20% with you

Outgrown? Send it back. Mail any Infantium Victoria garment to our Hannover atelier and we'll thank you with a 20% voucher for your next order. Each returned piece is checked, repaired where needed, and given a second life through our Preloved shop.

How it works

  1. Pack any Infantium Victoria garment (washed, please) with your name and email inside.
  2. Post it to: Infantium Victoria GmbH, Hirschanger 2, 30559 Hannover, Germany. Shipping is at your cost — think of it as the piece's ticket home.
  3. When it arrives, we email your 20% voucher. Single use, no expiry, valid on your next order.

A second story: Preloved

Our Preloved shop lives on Brandback — a peer-to-peer marketplace made for exactly this. Prefer to pass a piece on yourself? Upload it in minutes — photos, a few words, done — and Brandback helps it find its next family. Currently serving Germany and continental EU, with more regions to come. The same craftsmanship, a second childhood, a gentler price.

Circularity starts in the cutting room

The loop doesn't begin when a garment comes back — it begins before the first cut. In 2025, 10% of our production was woven from our own recovered cutting scraps by our partner Iro Iro in Jaipur, India; selected lines are cut from deadstock cloth — fabric that already exists, given a purpose; and 38% of production used low-waste pattern designs. These figures come from our annual Sustainability Report, where we publish the plan and the result, including the targets we missed.
