What GOTS-certified organic cotton actually means
Every piece in this collection carries a valid GOTS Transaction Certificate — not just a claim on the label. GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard, version 7.0) covers the organic fibre itself and sets environmental and working-condition criteria across the supply chain. We're certified by Control Union Certifications, licence CB-GOTS-CUC-03-1010632, valid to 30 June 2027. GOTS-certified pieces are marked on each product page — if it isn't marked, it isn't in this collection's certified set.
Who makes it
Every piece is cut and sewn in named ateliers we're happy to name on request — small workshops, not anonymous factories. We work with the same makers season after season rather than chasing the lowest quote, which is also why batches are small and pieces sometimes sell out for good.
Sizes, cut for handing down
Sizing runs from baby through teen, with generous seams and hems left long on purpose so a piece can go through a growth spurt — or a second child — without being retired early. Each product page lists its own size run; when in doubt, size up.
Care
Organic cotton behaves like cotton: wash cool, skip the fabric softener (it coats the fibre and shortens its life), and it will outlast a childhood. Full care instructions are on every product page.

How do I know which pieces are GOTS-certified?
GOTS-certified pieces are marked on each product page. This collection only includes pieces covered by a valid Transaction Certificate — no exceptions.
Is organic cotton warmer or more durable than conventional cotton?
Not warmer — the fibre itself behaves like cotton. What differs is how it's grown and processed. Cared for properly (cool wash, no softener), it holds up to years of wear and handing down.
What ages does this collection cover?
Baby through teen — each product page lists its own exact size run, so check there for the piece you're after.
Is Infantium Victoria sustainable kids clothing?
We don't use that word as a marketing claim — it's too vague to prove. What we can show you instead: a GOTS licence you can look up (CB-GOTS-CUC-03-1010632), vegan materials throughout (no wool, no silk, no leather), Certified B Corporation status since 30 August 2026, named ateliers, and a take-back programme with a real voucher attached.
