Matching sibling outfits that don't look like a uniform
Brothers and sisters look best together when they share a print or a colour, not the exact same piece. Give the older one the dress, the middle one the sweatshirt and the baby the onesie, all in the same print, and the photo reads as one family without three identical children in it. Everything on this page is chosen so you can do that across an age gap, from size 68 (about 6 months) to 152 (about 12 years).
One floral print, from baby to 12 years
Our floral jersey comes in black and in off-white, and it runs through the whole family. For the older children there is the Girls Black Dress with Floral Print, the Black Floral Kids Sweatshirt, The Sweatpants — Black Floral and the Black Floral Skirt for Girls, all in sizes 104 to 152. For the baby, the same print comes as the Floral Black Baby Onesie, Black Floral Baby Pants and a baby sweatshirt in sizes 68 to 92. The off-white version has the same pieces, from the Girls Off-White Dress with Floral Print to the Floral White Baby Onesie, so one child can wear black and the other off-white.
Brother and sister: polo shirt and polo dress
The easiest brother-and-sister match is a polo shirt next to a polo dress in the same colour. The Red Polo Shirt for Kids pairs with the Red Polo Dress for Girls; the Pink Polo and Blue Polo, cut for boys and girls, pair with the pink and blue girls polo dresses. Shirts run from 92 to 152, dresses from 92 to 140. More colours are in our kids polo shirts and polo dresses.
Black and embroidered, for the two smallest
For toddlers and babies there is a black set with the same floral embroidery on every piece: the Little Black Dress with Floral Embroidery, the Black Onesie with Floral Embroidery, the Black Mini Skirt and the Black Bomber Jacket with Floral Embroidery, in sizes 68 to 116.
Sizes across an age gap
Our sizes are heights in centimetres. Order each child by their own height, not by matching the sibling, and if one is between two sizes take the larger: our cut is slim and European. The size and hand-me-down guide shows which size fits at which age. Every piece is vegan; GOTS-certified pieces are marked on the product page.
Frequently asked
How do I match siblings without dressing them identically?
Share one thing and vary the rest. Keep the print or the colour the same and give each child a different piece: a dress for one, a sweatshirt and sweatpants for the other, a onesie for the baby. That is why our floral print comes as dresses, skirts, tops, sweatshirts, pants and onesies.
Can a brother and sister match?
Yes. A polo shirt with a polo dress in the same colour is the simplest way: red with red, pink with pink, blue with blue. The pink and blue polo shirts are cut for boys and girls, and the black floral bomber jacket is too.
What sizes do your matching sibling outfits come in?
From 68 (about 6 months) to 152 (about 12 years). In the floral print, the baby pieces run 68 to 92 and the kids pieces 104 to 152. The sizes in stock are shown on each product page.
Do you have matching Christmas outfits for siblings?
Yes. Our kids Christmas sweaters are knitted in grey and pink in the same motifs from baby sizes to 176, and our girls Christmas dresses go well next to a grey knit for a brother.
Are these outfits organic?
Not all of them, and we say so. The polo shirts and polo dresses are GOTS-certified organic cotton, and that is marked on each product page. In the floral print some pieces are marked GOTS-certified and others are described as cotton. Every piece is vegan.
