Four cuts, one length
Pleated, maxi, rectangle and sweat — four different skirts that agree on one thing: none of them stop short. Cut in Lisbon from organic cotton seersucker, Cotonea sweat-cotton, chambray and Morgado plaid, sized 140 through 176. A skirt she can sit down in, climb stairs in, wear to school on Monday and somewhere better on Saturday.
What's in this collection
The Pleated Skirt and The Maxi Pleat — sharp pleats in GOTS-certified organic cotton seersucker, knee-skimming to floor-length. The Rectangle Skirt and The Double-Layer Skirt — an architectural handkerchief hem that drops past the knee at the corners, in Morgado plaid, brown chambray and black biostructure cotton. The Sweat Skirt — a mid-length A-line in soft Cotonea sweat-cotton, with a contrast waistband and front zip, in black, natur cream, powder pink and tan. GOTS-certified organic cotton pieces are marked on the product page; the rest are conventional cotton, described honestly as that.
Frequently asked
How long are these skirts?
Knee-skimming at the shortest (The Pleated Skirt, The Sweat Skirt), floor-grazing at the longest (The Maxi Pleat, The White Pleat). None are mini. The Rectangle and Double-Layer Skirts fall mid-length on the straight sides with a handkerchief hem that points past the knee at the corners.
What kind of waistband do they have?
The Pleated Skirt, Maxi Pleat, Rectangle and Double-Layer Skirts have an easy elastic waist. The Sweat Skirt has a contrast waistband at the natural waist with a clean front zip.
Are any of these sheer, or do they need a slip underneath?
No. Seersucker, sweat-cotton, chambray and plaid — every fabric here is a substantial woven or knit cotton, none of it sheer.
Do these run up to size 176?
Yes. Every skirt in this collection is cut from size 140 (age 10) through 152, 164 and 176 (age 16).
